In 2016, DiliCapital launched its Entrepreneurship Initiative, a dedicated commitment to fostering and advancing entrepreneurial thinking and activity across Canada, Africa, and the Caribbean. This initiative led to the creation of the DiliCapital Entrepreneurs Network (DEN), a vibrant platform designed to connect, support, and empower entrepreneurs from diverse regions and industries.
DEC is designed to encourage and support diverse, innovative, and socially impactful business ideas. DEC offers budding entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds the chance to turn their visions into reality. Participants benefit from tailored training, access to industry experts, and a network of like-minded individuals, equipping them with the tools needed to succeed.
Dili Innovation Grants (DIG) program provides financial backing, resources, and mentorship to help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality. These grants are designed to fuel innovation by providing recipients with the essential support they need to overcome challenges, scale their ventures, and drive economic growth in their regions.
We are dedicated to creating an ESG framework that promotes inclusivity, continuous learning, and professional development.
We support our communities through two key initiatives: Dili Connect (DC) and Grants & Giving (G&G). DC partners with organizations to promote economic growth, education, and sustainable development, connecting us with impactful, community-driven projects. G&G provides funding and resources to nonprofits focused on social and economic challenges, supporting small businesses, job creation, and essential services. Together, these programs drive meaningful change and resilience in underserved areas.
DiliCapital fosters a diverse, inclusive culture that strengthens our organization and community impact. Led by our DE&I Committee, our programs promote growth, community, and support for all backgrounds. We celebrate diversity, and with initiatives like Diversity Awareness/History Month Celebrations and unconscious bias training, we empower employees. We are dedicated to advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts globally. Our investment banking advisors collaborate with clients to identify and address ESG risks and opportunities, driving a greener, fairer, and more sustainable economy.
